Your Life is Yours, by Robert Gore | STRAIGHT LINE LOGIC

History's greatest heist, swindle, and travesty has been the never-ending effort to convince those who produce that they owe something to those who don't. Slavery can be imposed by force, but it's not especially productive. Convince producers that their lives are yours, and you get the production without the whips and chains. That has been the philosopher's stone for every half-baked collectivist, redistributionist, populist, authoritarian, totalitarian pipe dreamer who ever became or wanted to become a "leader," and their motley cohorts.

This is a very good article.  Pretty much sums up the argument for the free market.
