From the article:
AFA has stated that Target could simply solve the problem they have brought on themselves. "One solution is a common-sense approach and a reasonable solution to the issue of transgendered customers: a unisex bathroom," wrote Wildmon. "Target should keep separate facilities for men and women, but for the trans community and for those who simply like using the bathroom alone, a single occupancy unisex bathroom option should be provided."
Target appears to be taking a financial beating. I wonder if it will be enough to get them to change their position? I also wonder, what would motivate a company to take such a risk? Why not opt for the "common sense, reasonable solution" in the first place? What motivates a company to get involved in promoting social engineering at the risk to their profit and their business? I wonder what their mission statement says? Are they a social engineering company or a retail home goods company? How many companies in the history of commerce have failed because they do not understand, or focus on, their primary mission?
