From the article:
One of the fields of human endeavor that provides the most humorous and outrageous examples of the Law of Unintended Consequences is "green" energy, which is green primarily because of all the money blissfully thrown into its bottomless money pit. Nowhere is this law so in evidence than at the Ivanpah solar plant in the Mojave Desert.
These guys rival the Military procurement system? Almost $2B down the drain and not a good solution in sight. That's taxpayer money by the way. Seems like the old saying I used in the prior article about Mother Nature applies here as well.
The guy who runs the Department of Energy is Ernest Moniz. He guided this abomination and also was a key negotiator and the energy guru for Kerry during the Iran nuclear negotiations. Doesn't that just make you feel warm and fuzzy?
