Yesterday EPA administrator Lisa Jackson released the Utility MACT rule that’s quite likely to put coal plants out of business. According to The Wall Street Journal, Jackson’s “historic” rule could very well be the most expensive regulation in the agency’s history. No wonder she released it a few days before Christmas when people are not paying attention.
